Owner Marcel Gregori takes pride in personally catching local crabs daily during the crab season. Once the crabs are caught, they are immediately transported off the boat to The Crab Shop. They are then processed and ready to enjoy in the form of cooked, freshly shelled crab meat or ready-made crab cakes on your plate that evening. Aside from freshly caught crab and high-quality seafood and shellfish, The Crab Shop is renowned for offering Vancouver’s Best Fish and Chips! For decades people have traveled from far and wide to savour the flavour of our homemade batter and tartar sauce. The Crab Shop also offers other freshly prepared hot treats cooked on demand such as seafood cakes (crab, salmon, halibut, or shrimp) served as appetizing burgers as well as our tasty new fish tacos and fish sandwich, to name a few.
