Tri-City hotspots mapped out on SkyTrain food crawl

Tri-City hotspots mapped out on SkyTrain food crawl

Jumping on the SkyTrain to head to work in the morning, it can be hard to make sense of the unfamiliar haunts whizzing by.

So in an effort to guide Metro Vancouverites and visitors alike, TransLink has partnered with WestCoastFood to map out the Lower Mainland’s top dining and brewpubs.

Aptly named ‘Dine the Line,’ the SkyTrain-centred food dash strings together three culinary experiences.

You can ride the Dim Sum to Dinner via the Canada Line; hit up World Cuisine along the Expo Line; or tie together your favourite Tri-City hang-outs with the Brewery to Bites food crawl via the Millennium Line.

“Transit connects our communities in so many ways and we want transit to be the way that residents and tourists discover culinary hubs throughout our great city,” said TransLink CEO Kevin Desmond through a press release.

For those starting in the Tri-Cities, Legend House Chinese Restaurant, Mariner Brewing and The Taphouse Coquitlam have already made the list. But new pubs and restaurants will be added every week here.

For those on the go you can explore the ‘Dine the Line’ interactive maps or download them onto your mobile phone before you go.
