We operate a weekly farmers market with up to ninety local makers, bakers, and growers!
The Esquimalt Farmers Market operates on the land of the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees) and Xwsepsum (Esquimalt) Nations.
As a food-first farmers market, we acknowledge that many of the practices represented at the market are a result of ongoing forms of colonialism. Recognizing these inherent connections and continuing to interrogate settler colonialism is critical to our work.
As we continue to grow as an organization, we endeavor to strengthen our relationships and responsibilities to the people and nations of this place.
