Help Celebrate Mountain Life! Please Contribute to the New Whistler Museum.
Being part of a community means knowing its history, understanding its present opportunities and challenges, and contributing to its promise for the future. That’s how we plant roots, connect with a place, and develop a sense of belonging. In 2009 the Whistler Museum opened its doors in the trailer the Museum currently calls home. That same trailer – initially the Canada Post building in Creekside in the 1970s – has far outlived its ability to house the Museum’s collection, store archives, and welcome upwards of 15,000 visitors annually.
That’s why the Whistler Museum and Archive Society (WMAS) is embarking on its most important initiative to date — raising $10 million to build a new, state-of-the-art Whistler Museum with mid-2028 as the target date for opening!
On behalf of the WMAS Board, staff, and members we humbly ask you to consider contributing to the capital campaign for the new Whistler Museum. Your support is needed now.
