Our vision at Squamish Helping Hands is a safe and healthy community for all. We provide shelter, supportive housing, food services, and supports to people at-risk to improve individual wellness and the capacity for independence.They provide low-barrier, non-judgemental, trauma-informed services to adults coping with challenges including low income, mental illness, substance use, health issues, and other barriers. Squamish Helping Hands operates out of Under One Roof, a community hub offering 44 units of supported housing and emergency shelter.
Under One Roof is more than just housing, it’s a community food hub, a volunteer hub, a wellness hub, and a central access point for supports and services.
