Supporting and Advocating for a Healthy Community

Whistler Community Services Society (WCSS) has supported Whistler’s social health and wellness since 1989. As a non-profit with charitable status, WCSS relies on the generosity of volunteers and donors to provide vital support to community members, including through the Whistler Food Bank, Outreach Services, Connect Whistler Week, and more than 30 other programs and services.

WCSS’s social enterprises, the Re-Use-It and Re-Build-It thrift stores, divert over 1,000 kilograms of useful items from the landfill each day, totalling nearly 500,000 kilograms of waste each year. Funds earned from these social enterprises are reinvested directly back into the community!
