Christy graduated from the University of Alberta in 2014 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Physical Education and Recreation in 2011. Since graduating, Christy has worked with a large spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions having worked in both the private and public health sectors. To further pursue her passion for sports rehabilitation, Christy has worked closely with Varsity Level Men’s Volleyball and Jr. A Hockey Teams to help her work towards completing her Certificate in Sports Physical Therapy. Book with Christy Christy has also completed further orthopedic and spinal manipulative training and is certified in Biomedical Dry Needling. What drew Christy to PhysioFocus was that the clinic’s treatment approach met her ideals that treatment should be client-specific consisting of a functional therapeutic exercise program and manual therapy techniques to help her clients achieve their personal goals. After practicing in Alberta for 3 years, Christy decided to move to Squamish as she could not think of a more perfect place to pursue both her career and lifestyle as an avid outdoor enthusiast.
