Saysutshun - Newcastle Island
A Unique Natural, Historical, and Cultural Experience
Saysutshun is part of Snuneymuxw First Nation Traditional Territory. It is a beautiful place to spend the day with family, go on a natural adventure, or as a unique and stunning setting for your next corporate or private event.The island is accessible by passenger ferry or private boat. The ferry, run by Saysutshun Ferry Service, is a ten-minute ride from Maffeo Sutton Park. It runs every half hour, every day, all year. Pets, bicycles, and camping equipment are accepted for a very nominal fee (but please make sure Fido stays on a leash!)
